COGNITIVE CONSTRUCTIVIST THERAPY OF ALBUQUERQUE
Everyone has long-standing behavior patterns, habitual perceptions, and irrational beliefs; left unexamined some of these are going to undermine your happiness. As a cognitive-constructivist (a wordy way of saying we get to choose how we make sense of the world) my goal is to help you see things from different perspectives and to respond to life’s challenges in new and more rewarding ways. Just as you have taught your body to respond reflexively, your thinking has also become reflexive. When you become aware of your patterned thoughts and emotional reflexes, you can decide what works for you and what works against you. Only then can you choose what to keep and what to change. Awareness will allow you to live in the moment and give you the opportunity to make you into a new and happier you.

allow their emotions to control their thinking. Working together, we can examine your thinking, and learn how to use your thinking to control your emotions. Emotions become moods and moods
become dispositions. Each time you consciously choose an emotion, you empower yourself and you choose how your life will unfold.
